A visibility scale is a numerical value that can be set in the Symbolisation Manager, which determines from which scale level the data will be visible in the Map Window.

Usage example
If we set the visibility scale to 17, objects will be visible at scale levels 17-22, i.e. at scales larger than the specified one.
