The Object Identification Tool is a tool available in the Tools Panel that allows you to identify an object.
It is possible to identify objects from all Vector Layers that are displayed in the Map Window.
To use the tool
- select the tool by clicking on the icon
- click on the object in the Map Window that you wish to identify
- In the event that there is only one object in the vicinity of the click, its Card will be displayed in the Information Panel and the object itself will be highlighted in red.
- In the event that there are several objects in the vicinity of the click, a list of objects will be displayed in the Information Panel from which we can select one to open the Object Card.
- In the event that there is only one object in the vicinity of the click, its Card will be displayed in the Information Panel and the object itself will be highlighted in red.
