List of layers

A Layer List is a list that contains the Layers saved in the Project. The Layer List can be found in the Legend Panel

Each type of layer has its own individual tools.

Vector layer tools:

1. Checkbox (tick!) of Enable and Disable Layers (allows you to enable and disable the visibility of the map in the Map Window)
2. Graphical representation of the Layer Symbolisation (set in the Symbolisation Manager)
3. Layer name
4. Show/Hide Labels (symbolisation and visibility of Labels is set in the Symbolisation Manager, this tool is only used to quickly enable/disable labels for map presentation purposes)
5. [optional] Enable direction arrows
6. Show layer extent
7. Open layer attribute table
8. Manage layer transparency
9. Change style
10. Refresh
11. Delete – removes a layer from the Project

WMS layer tools

1. Checkbox (tick!) for Enable and Disable Layers (allows you to enable and disable the visibility of the map in the Map Window)
2. WMS symbol (the system does not display the WMS legend)
3. Layer Name
4. Manage Layer Transparency
5. Delete – removes the layer from the Project
